A Touch of Fall

October 13, 2008 · By Deb Phillips - The Photo Gal

Autumn scene surrounding a Welcome to Lewisville sign in Lewisville, North Carolina (Forsyth County). Deb Phillips, photographer.

This artistic rendering is from a photo taken on Lucy Lane across from the library. Although leaves are not yet turning in great numbers, there are spots of trees here and there where the autumn transition has already begun. I look forward to discovering and capturing more of the beautiful colors that will eventually burst forth.

I’m trying to wait patiently — but I’m ready for you, Autumn: “Welcome to Lewisville!”

After following the crowd for a while, I'd then go 180 degrees in the exact opposite direction. It always worked for me, but then again, I'm very lucky. —Elliott Erwitt
