Hello, Dolly
The first show of West Side Civic Theatre’s current production of Hello, Dolly delighted the audience at a packed-out Shallowford Square yesterday evening. Hard work and talent were evident as the dedicated cast, musicians, staff and volunteers made it such an enjoyable evening!
The second show runs tonight (September 7). If you won’t be able to make it to tonight’s show, don’t worry. You’ll have four more opportunities this coming week. Due to the rain-out of what was supposed to have been the first show this past Friday evening, the theatre company has added an additional show date to this week’s schedule.
Performances of Hello, Dolly will begin at 8:00 pm Wednesday through Saturday this week (September 10–13) at Shallowford Square in Lewisville. Bring a lawn chair — and if you’d like, come early with your evening meal. Then just kick back and enjoy a great evening of outdoor theatre. (Admission is free.)
You can view scenes of last night’s show by going directly to the photo gallery for the September 6 show. I’ll be posting photos of the upcoming shows as soon as they’re edited, so be sure to check back here for notices of the new photos later this week.
I also plan to put together a Photo Highlights gallery of the best photos from all the performances of Hello, Dolly as soon as I can after the last show.
I hope to see you at one of the shows!
P.S. Looking for Oklahoma! Photos?
Because this website launched in August, 2008, there are no blog posts about the musical, Oklahoma!, which took place in May/June, 2008. However, numerous photos were still taken of several of the Oklahoma! performances, and they can be viewed in the Oklahoma! photo gallery.
