The Girl Scouts’ face painting tent was a popular spot on Shallowford Square during Lewisville’s 25th Anniversary Celebration. This lovely young lady is one of many children who had their faces painted by Girl Scout Cadette Troops 40232 and 40875.

Kids Having Non-Stop Fun

If you’d ventured onto Shallowford Square on Saturday, August 13, 2016 for Lewisville’s 25th Anniversary Celebration, you would have seen lots of children engaged in all kinds of fun activities and games. The children’s area was the place to be for face painting, temporary tattoos, coloring, bubbles, bowling and a whole lot more.

Young William Orrell, a world record holder in sport stacking (also known as cup stacking or speed stacking) demonstrated his incredible skills before awed audiences. Nearby was Mister Mike, a master at magic, juggling and balloon art.

Yes sir, there was non-stop fun in the children’s area all afternoon. As the sun sank low and the evening band, Phatt City, began cranking up, I happened upon three beautiful siblings (shown below) who looked like they’d had a fun day, too.
