Maybe you’ve seen this car in Lewisville. I saw it for the first time this week in the library parking lot. It’s an earnest reminder of the turmoil and unrest of our times. If you have an especial affinity for this message, you should see the entire car!

All I can say is, the car owner has real conviction — and this particular photo of the car doesn’t do it “justice,” so to speak. You’ll see what I mean if you continue to the next section to see more shots of the car. Peace.

What a waste of time and paint !!! It’s amazing how many nerds and “politically correct” people now live in Lewisville. But you (Deb) do take beautiful pictures.

  2. Hi, Donna! Would you believe I received an email from a friend yesterday who is good friends with the owner of this car?! The owner actually lives in Winston-Salem. The brief description I was given of the individual really impressed me. It made me pause, and it reminded me that the world — and even our little community — is made up of a great tapestry of unique and colorful individuals. So I’d rather steer us toward thinking of the owner of the car as a unique and creative individual who has a propensity toward conspicuous self-expression! Now how’s that for political correctness?! 🙂

Thanks for dropping by, Donna, and thanks also for your compliment on my photos.

Up to and including the moment of exposure, the photographer is working in an undeniably subjective way. By his choice of technical approach, by the selection of the subject matter ... and by his decision as to the exact cinematic instant of exposure, he is blending the variables of interpretation into an emotional whole. —W.
